A second large step. The difficulties

A second large step. The difficulties

* If you didn't read my first blog this second does play into it a little

Difficulties? Seriously, who has those? If I had to guess I would guess.... umm... no body! Just playing just playing. Everybody has difficulties and stress and every one has their own way of dealing with each difficulty. Rather it be finances (the most frustrating), finding a house, the wedding planning (which is a category all to itself), health and emergency, savings, jobs, school etc etc etc. Any one who is human could go on and on all day about their problems and difficulties. But, how do you get pass them? How do you work through them? As I said, every one person has his or her own way of dealing and when you bring two people to make one person, those ways of dealing clash.

In my world, true love keeps difficulties in their place. Difficulties place is? You ask. To me, very low on the priority list. My list looks like this: 1. God, 2. Family, 3. Friends, 4. Providing, including finances, job, etc. Let's be honest, no one really wants to put stresses on their priority list. But they are there! We have to get used to it! Unfortunately, we all let our difficulties get the better of us from time to time, especially when it comes to relationships. But, again, and I truly believe this, that true love is what gets us pass each and every difficulty! This, I am just truly beginning to learn. This blog will show you where I am in my progress.

Again, as I said, and I will keep saying it until it sticks, I believe true love keeps you from letting difficulties take you over. God loves us, if we understand that and give everything to him he takes our difficulties away. (Matthew 11:28-30). Your family loves you, your husband/wife loves you. Someone TRULY loves you! So, in my world, there are no excuses. True love in a relationship can do the same. Lina and I love each other. To us it is overwhelmingly evident and here are a few of our current difficulties. Finances top the list. Saving for a wedding, a honeymoon, a house, a car, etc. These are surprisingly the least important on my list. The most? Are you ready? Lina has a disease called VUR, a kidney disease, and with out going into much detail (because she reads this before I publish it and I want her to allow me to do so) she needs a sort of surgery, that will cost a lot of money. But, we don't stress.. well I do (not just b/c the money but b/c I ask myself "How do I take care of her?).. .she calms me down though. She Finally got a job that gives her benefits!!! Another blessing from God. This will definitely help! But this is my most important "difficulty". It scares me, but she is so strong. Literally the strongest person I know! Up there with my dad and Grandmother. She lives through it and doesn't stress. She knows, because she knows I love her and that God loves her, that she will be taken care of. She is the reason why I believe that True Love can cure difficulties. Rather it be true love in a relationship or knowing God's love for you!

Let's be real, finances suck! Even for someone like me who is fairly laid back and stress free and actually LOVES finance. And I know that there will be much much more to come! And I am ready to face them! I try to look at the bigger picture! I try to and am learning more and more. I see that love lasts longer then a time of difficulty. I sincerely believe that true love is the cure to every difficulty and the true love comes from God and passed through you husband or wife, your mother or father or brother or sister. Not just finances which I went over, but finding that job after being laid off, saving money, helping your family and friends. Talk to your loved one(s), don't just assume. Tell them everyday or every chance you get that you love them! I tell my Lina every day! But TRULY love them in every situation. Showing true love and showing love are two different things! Practice it. Start by understanding Gods true love for everyone. To me, and yes I am still learning myself, this work tremendously!

Matthew 11:28-30

New International Version (NIV)
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
